Geography
Bedok District is located approximately 8km east of the City in the East Sub-Region, East Region.

Bedok District is bounded by Bayshore Park Outlet Drain, East Coast Parkway (ECP), Bedok South Avenue 1, Marine Parade Road, Still Road, Jalan Eunos and Eunos Link to the west; Airport Road, the southern perimeter of Paya Lebar Air Base, the western perimeter of Tampines Stockpile and Bartley Road East to the north; Sungei Bedok, Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Simei Avenue, Upper Changi Road, Sungei Bedok, Upper Changi Road East, Xilin Avenue, Sungei Ketapang and Sungei Bedok to the east; and the Straits of Singapore to the south.

Bedok District covers an area of approximately 2,211 hectares, ranking 9th among the 27 districts. Bedok District housed an estimated population of 384,746 residents as of June 2017, ranking 2nd among the 27 districts. Bedok District has a population density of 17,398/km².

Division
Bedok District comprises 1 New Town (Bedok New Town), 4 Estates (Bedok Estate, Chai Chee Estate, Kaki Bukit Estate and Kembangan Estate) and 1 Sub-District (East Coast Sub-District).

Bedok New Town is divided into 8 neighbourhoods, namely Bedok Neighbourhood 1, Bedok Neighbourhood 2, Bedok Neighbourhood 3, Bedok Neighbourhood 4, Bedok Neighbourhood 5, Bedok Neighbourhood 6, Bedok Neighbourhood 7 and Bedok Town Centre.

Bedok Estate contains 5 neighbourhoods, namely Bedok, Bedok Camp, Simpang Bedok, Tanah Merah and Sungei Bedok.

Chai Chee Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Chai Chee).

Kaki Bukit Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Kaki Bukit).

Kembangan Estate contains 2 neighbourhoods, namely Kampong Kembangan and Kampong Melayu.

East Coast Sub-District contains 4 estates, namely Telok Kurau Estate, Siglap Estate, Upper East Coast Estate and Bayshore Estate.

Telok Kurau Estate contains 2 neighbourhoods, namely Telok Kurau North and Telok Kurau South.

Siglap Estate contains 5 neighbourhoods, namely Frankel, Opera, Keris, Siglap and Ulu Siglap.

Upper East Coast Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Upper East Coast).

Bayshore Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Bayshore).

Bedok District also includes 2 Parks, namely Bedok Reservoir and East Coast Park (Area F and Area G).

In total, Bedok District is sub-divided into 28 neighbourhoods.
