Changi Special District is located approximately 14km east of the City in the East Sub-Region, East Region.
Changi Special District is bounded by Selat Johor to the north; Serangoon Harbour, Sungei Selarang, Loyang Way, Upper Changi Road North, Upper Changi Road East, the western perimeter of East View Garden Estate, Jalan Tiga Ratus, Upper Changi Road East, Simei Avenue, Upper Changi Road, Sungei Bedok, Upper Changi Road East, Sungei Ketapang and Sungei Bedok to the west; and the Straits of Singapore to the south. Changi Special District also administered Pedra Branca in the South China Sea.
Changi Special District covers an area of approximately 11,606 hectares, ranking 2nd among the 27 districts. Changi Special District housed an estimated population of 16,740 residents as of June 2017, ranking 27th among the 27 districts. Changi Special District has a population density of 144/km².
