Geography
Bukit Batok District is located approximately 13km northwest of the City in the Northwest Sub-Region, West Region.

Bukit Batok District is bounded by Sungei Pang Sua, Rail Corridor, Upper Bukit Timah Road, Old Jurong Road, Bukit Batok East Avenue 6, Bukit Batok Street 25, Bukit Batok East Avenue 3 and Toh Tuck Avenue to the east; Pan Island Expressway (PIE) to the southwest; Kranji Expressway (KJE) to the northwest; Brickland Road, Bukit Batok Road and Choa Chu Kang Road to the north.

Bukit Batok District covers an area of approximately 1,787 hectares, ranking 13th among the 27 districts. Bukit Batok District housed an estimated population of 177,823 residents as of June 2017, ranking 13th among the 27 districts. Bukit Batok District has a population density of 9,952/km².

Division
Bukit Batok District comprises 1 New Town (Bukit Batok New Town), 2 Estates (Hillview Estate and Phoenix Height Estate) and 1 Sub-District (Tengah Sub-District).

Bukit Batok New Town is divided into 6 neighbourhoods, namely Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 1, Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 2, Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 3, Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 4, Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 5 and Bukit Batok Neighbourhood 6.

Hillview Estate contains 3 neighbourhoods, namely Hillview, Hillview South and Hume.

Phoenix Height Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Phoenix Height).

Tengah Sub-District contains 11 neighbourhoods, namely Hong Kah Drive, Hong Kah Circle, Hong Kah Lane, Hong Kah Road, Chichau, Lam Sam, Brickland, Tengah South, Tengah East, Tengah Central and Tengah North.

Bukit Batok also includes 2 Infrastructure (Bukit Gombak).

Bukit Batok also includes 1 Park (Bukit Batok Nature Park).

In total, Bukit Batok District is sub-divided into 23 neighbourhoods.
