Geography
Bukit Panjang District is located approximately 15km northwest of the City in the Northwest Sub-Region, West Region.

Bukit Panjang District is bounded by Sungei Pang Sua and Rail Corridor to the west; Hillview Underpass, Dairy Farm Road, Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), Rifle Range Road, the eastern perimeter of Bukit Timah Satellite Earth Station, Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and the northern watershed of Macritchie Reservoir to the south; the western watershed of Lower Peirce Reservoir and the western perimeter of Island Golf Course to the east; the southern watershed of Upper Seletar Reservoir, the western perimeter of the Central Water Catchment, Chestnut Avenue, Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and Kranji Expressway (KJE) to the north.

Bukit Panjang District covers an area of approximately 1,519 hectares, ranking 17th among the 27 districts. Bukit Panjang District housed an estimated population of 159,241 residents as of June 2017, ranking 16th among the 27 districts. Bukit Panjang District has a population density of 10,482/km².

Bukit Panjang New Town is divided into 7 neighbourhoods, namely Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 1, Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 2, Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 3, Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 4, Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 5, Bukit Panjang Neighbourhood 6 and Ten Mile.

Cashew Estate contains 1 neighbourhood (Cashew).

Bukit Panjang District also includes 1 Park (Upper Peirce Reservoir).
