Geography
Pasir Ris District is located approximately 18km east of the City in the East Sub-Region, East Region.
Pasir Ris District is bounded by Sungei Serangoon to the west; Tampines Expressway (TPE) to the south; Upper Changi Road North, Loyang Way and Sungei Selarang to the east; and Serangoon Harbour to the north.
Pasir Ris District covers an area of approximately 1,518 hectares, ranking 18th among the 27 districts. Pasir Ris District housed an estimated population of 179,540 residents as of June 2017, ranking 12th among the 27 districts. Pasir Ris District has a population density of 11,823/km².

Division
Pasir Ris District comprises 1 New Town (Pasir Ris New Town), 2 Estates (Pasir Ris Estate and Loyang Estate) and 1 Sub-District (Lorong Halus Sub-District).
Pasir Ris New Town is divided into 7 neighbourhoods, namely Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 1, Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 2, Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 3, Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 4, Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 5, Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 6 and Pasir Ris Neighbourhood 7.
Pasir Ris Estate contains 3 neighbourhoods, namely Pasir Ris Beach Park, Loyang Besar and Pasir Ris Park.
Loyang Estate contains 4 neighbourhoods, namely Yan Kit, Bukit Loyang, Loyang Industrial and Selarang.
Lorong Halus Sub-District contains 5 neighbourhoods, namely Pasir Ris Industrial, Loyang Farm, Pasir Ris Camp, Pasir Ris Coast and Lorong Halus.
In total, Pasir Ris District is sub-divided into 19 neighbourhoods.
