Final Physiotherapy Review @ Nee Soon Camp

18 July 2007

To be honest, I perceived today's session would very likely be my final physiotherapy review at Nee Soon Camp before I disrupt/ORD on 31.7.07. Therefore, I planned this trip to be as classic and memorable as possible... I woke up at 5.30am. After washing up, I left home an hour later.

Breakfast at Sembawang Cottage McDonald
After travelling on bus #293 and bus #969, I reached Sembawang Cottage McDonald at 7am...

I would past by Sembawang Cottage McDonald whenever I booked out from Mandai Hill Camp while on board bus #171 to Yishun for transfer to bus #969. However, it was after passing by for numerous time then I finally decided to have my breakfast here for the first time on 31.8.06...

Unlike other McDonald outlets, the setting of Sembawang Cottage McDonald is very typical of late 1980s - early 1990s McDonald's ambience. The old school interior setting brings back nostalgic memories of my countless weekly childhood visit to Tampines Central McDonald (Blk 513 Big Mc & Blk 512 Small Mc) with Papa to buy Happy Meal... I fell in love with the cosy ambience of Sembawang Cottage McDonald immediately.

Being able to have a long cheerful breakfast at Sembawang Cottage McDonald is wonderful. I enjoyed sipping cups of hot black coffee and laze the beautiful morning away... It feels great to be on leave before ORD.

Besides, I would come here for breakfast whenever I have physiotherapy at Nee Soon Camp or after endorsing my MC...

Furthermore, the staffs at Sembawang Cottage McDonald (like auntie Siew Lim and auntie Catherine) are really friendly. Over time, we become familiar with each other and we started having short casual chats whenever I am there for breakfast... The aunties are also very concerned about my injury... Therefore, I deliberately visit here for breakfast to bid farewell to a familiar environment and the lovely staffs...

Final Physiotherapy Review at Nee Soon Camp
After receiving more than a year of treatment and gym sessions, my physiotherapy appointments finally came to an end today... Being the last time I am visiting Nee Soon Camp before disruption, I bought lots of food comprising chicken rice, black carrot cake and curry puffs home to eat...
