Geography
Jurong District is located approximately 16km west of the City in the West Sub-Region, West Region.
Jurong District is bounded by Poyan Reservoir, Sungei Berih, Sungei Choa Chu Kang, Jalan Sungei Poyan, the southern perimeter of Chua Chu Kang Cemetery, Choa Chu Kang Road, Jalan Berseri and Pan Island Expressway (PIE) to the north; Old Toh Tuck Road, Toh Tuck Avenue, Sungei Ulu Pandan, Sungei Pandan and East Jurong Channel to the east; Selat Pandan, Sinki Fairway and the Straits of Singapore to the south; Selat Johor to the west.
Jurong District covers an area of approximately 15,890 hectares, ranking 1st among the 27 districts. Jurong District housed an estimated population of 584,693 residents as of June 2017, ranking 1st among the 27 districts. Jurong District has a population density of 3,679/km².

Division
Jurong District comprises 4 Towns (Jurong Town, Jurong East New Town, Jurong West New Town and Jurong Industrial Town), and 4 Sub-Districts (Nanyang Sub-District, Pasir Laba Sub-District, Tuas Sub-District and Jurong Island Sub-District).
Jurong Town is divided into 5 neighbourhoods, namely Jurong Town Neighbourhood 1, Jurong Town Neighbourhood 3, Boon Lay Gardens, Teban / Pandan Gardens and Jurong Lake.
Jurong East New Town is divided into 5 neighbourhoods, namely Jurong East Neighbourhood 1, Jurong East Neighbourhood 2, Jurong East Neighbourhood 3, Jurong Gateway and International Business Park.
Jurong West New Town is divided into 7 neighbourhoods, namely Jurong West Neighbourhood 4, Jurong West Neighbourhood 5, Jurong West Neighbourhood 6, Jurong West Neighbourhood 7, Jurong West Neighbourhood 8, Jurong West Neighbourhood 9 and Jurong West Neighbourhood 2.
Jurong Industrial Town is divided into 25 neighbourhoods, namely Toh Guan, Chin Bee, Tukang, Soon Lee, Tractor, Kian Teck, Lok Yang, Joo Koon, Pandan Reservoir, Pandan, Penjuru, Tanjong Penjuru, Jurong Scrapyard, Jurong Abattoir, Jurong Port, Jalan Buroh, Jurong Hill, Kling, Tanjong Kling, Refinery, Jurong Shipyard, Benoi, Benoi Basin, Gul and Tanjong Gul.
Nanyang Sub-District contains 4 neighbourhoods, namely Nanyang Technological University, Dragon Kiln, Jalan Bahar East and Jalan Bahar West.
Pasir Laba Sub-District contains 4 neighbourhoods, namely SAFTI, Pasir Laba, Tengeh Reservoir and Poyan Reservoir.
Tuas Sub-District contains 9 neighbourhoods, namely Bajau, Tuas, Tuas Basin, Tuas West, Tuas South, Tuas Bay, Tuas View, Tuas View Extension and Tuas Port.
Jurong Island Sub-District contains 10 neighbourhoods, namely Merlimau, Seraya, Ayer Merbau, Ayer Chawan, Sakra, Pesek, Tembusu, Angsana, Bayan and Meranti.
In total, Tampines District is sub-divided into 69 neighbourhoods.
